    Eligibility:

    Age Limit: Age limit must be between 18 to 36 years as on 1st January 2025. 
    Age Relaxation: 
    👉 SC/ ST: 5 years
    👉OBC: 3 years
    👉PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
    👉PwD (OBC): 13 years
    👉PwD (SC/ ST): 15 years

    Educational Qualification:

    Candidates must be 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

    👉OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/- Rupees.
    👉EWS Candidates: Rs500/- Rupees.

    Selection Process:

    1. Computer Based Tests (CBT)
    2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
    3. Document Verification (DV) and
    4. Medical Examination (ME) 

    Computer Based Test:


    A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held with duration of 90 minutes among all eligible candidates. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices. The basic structure of CBT is as follows.

    👉Negative Marking: There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

    👉Cut-Off Marks: Minimum percentage of marks for shortlisting in various communities: UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.

    Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

    👉General Intelligence and Reasoning

    Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

    👉General Science

    The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE).

    👉General Awareness on Current Affairs

    In Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance.

    Physical Eligibility:

    1. 👉Male : Candidates Should be Lift and Carry 35kg Weight for a Distance 100 Meter in 2 Minutes and 1000 Meter Running in 04 Minute 15 Sec. Only For One Chance
    1. 👉Female : Should be Lift and Carry 20kg Weight for a Distance 100 Meter in 2 Minutes and 1000 Meter Running in 05 Minute 40 Sec Only For One Chance.

    Document Verification:


    👉Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and have performed well in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be called for Document Verification (DV) in a 1:1 ratio based on the number of notified vacancies.

    👉Tie-breaking Criteria: In case of candidates securing the same normalized percentile score, merit will be decided by age (older candidates ranked higher). If ages are identical, alphabetical order of the candidates’ names will be used as a tiebreaker.

    👉Final Appointment Conditions: The appointment of selected candidates is contingent upon their passing a Medical Fitness Test, verification of educational and community certificates, and a thorough background check on their antecedents/character by the Railway Administration.
