Exam Structure
- Total Subjects: 37 subjects (13 Indian Languages, 23 Domain-Specific Subjects, 1 General Aptitude Test)
- Choice of Test Paper: Candidates can choose up to five subjects (including languages and the general aptitude test).
- Medium of Exam: The test will be available in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
- Number of Questions: Each test paper will contain 50 questions, all of which are compulsory.
- Duration: The duration for each test paper will be 60 minutes. For PwBD candidates, there will be an additional 20 minutes per hour.
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

Syllabus for CUET UG 2025
The syllabus for the CUET UG 2025 exam will include three major sections:
1. Language Subjects:- The language section will test the candidate’s ability to understand reading comprehension passages (factual, literary, and narrative).
- It will also test vocabulary and literary aptitude.
- Based on the NCERT syllabus, domain subjects will cover topics relevant to the chosen discipline such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.
3. General Aptitude Test:
- This section will include:
- General Knowledge: Awareness of current events and general facts.
