The Union Bank of India has released a recruitment notification for the year 2025 to fill 2691 vacancies for the post of Apprentices. Candidates who are interested and eligible for the positions can apply online through the Union Bank of India’s official website. The online application process is open from 05th March 2025 and will close on 12th March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification:

Age Limit:

Maximum Age: 28 years
Age relaxation will be provided as per government guidelines for categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWBD.

Qualification:

Graduation from a recognized University/Institute.
Candidates must have completed their graduation on or after 01st April 2021.

Other Requirements:

Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier with Union Bank of India or any other organization.
Those who have worked or undergone apprenticeship for a period of one year or more after attaining the required educational qualifications are not eligible.

Minimum Age: 20 years

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: Rs. 800 + GST
• Females (All Categories): Rs. 600 + GST
• SC/ST/PWBD: Rs. 400 + GST

Selection Process:

Online Examination: The selection process includes an online test which will be an objective-type examination. The test will have the following sections:

General/Financial Awareness
General English
Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude
Computer Knowledge

Knowledge and Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for. This includes reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language.

Wait List: The bank may also declare a waitlist of successful candidates in case any selected candidates do not accept the offer or do not report for duty.

Medical Examination: Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination conducted by a registered general physician (MBBS).

• Candidates are required to apply online only through the NATS Portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme)
• The portal will have the advertisement for Union Bank of India’s apprenticeship opportunities, where candidates can apply.
