Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualifications:

• Assistant Manager (Design) : Full time Regular BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering from any AICTE recognized Institution/ University . 

• Preference will be given those who have, M.Tech /M. E /Post Graduate Degree in Structural Engineering

• Assistant Manager (Architect): Full Time Regular B. Arch Graduate from AICTE recognized Institution/ University.

• Joint General Manager (Design): a) On Regular basis- Full Time Regular BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering from any AICTE recognized Institution/ University . 

• b) For Deputation/Re-employment : BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any AICTE recognized Institution/ University .

Experience:

• Assistant Manager (Design): Typically, candidates are expected to have experience in design management, urban planning, or architectural design, depending on the post.

• Assistant Manager (Architect): Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in detailed Architectural design and planning for large multi modal transit hubs like Metro Stations/ Railway Stations/ Airports/ Large buildings or group of buildings of built up area of minimum 2 lakh Sqft. etc

• Joint General Manager (Design): Candidates should have substantial experience in the field of design engineering, with a preference for those with leadership experience.

 Salary & Benefits

• Assistant Manager (Design) and Assistant Manager (Architect):

  • Basic Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 (IDA)

  • Other Benefits: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Medical Facilities, and other allowances as per the company policy.

• Joint General Manager (Design):

  • Basic Salary:

    • For Regular Appointment: ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 (IDA)

    • For Deputation: As per the deputation terms of the parent organization

    • For Reemployment: ₹1,46,000 per month on a consolidated pay basis

1. Age, Qualification & Experience will be reckoned as on 01.04.2025. 

2. Selection process will consist of interview and/or written/online test, which will be decided by KMRL based on the number of candidates being short listed for the post. 

3. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview and/or written/online test, which will be communicated through email id registered with KMRL by the applicants. No other mode of communication will be attempted. 

4. KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for written/online test and/or interview.

6. Applicants employed in Govt. /Quasi Govt. / PSUs shall produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of written/online test and/or interview. 

7. Experienced Candidates from PSU/Govt. Organizations should be presently working in the equivalent grade/its equivalent scale or in the immediate lower grade/its equivalent scale and proof thereof shall be submitted along with application or at the time of written/online test and/or interview. 

8. Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates will be at the sole discretion of the Management. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

17. As per KMRL Recruitment Rules, Regular employees of KMRL, shall be eligible for relaxation of upper age limit up to a maximum of 5 years when they apply for selection to a higher post under Direct recruitment. 

18. As per KMRL Recruitment Rules, Applicants who have worked on contract basis in KMRL are eligible for relaxation of upper age limit upto a maximum of 3 years when they apply for selection to a regular post (in the same grade or feeder category) under Direct recruitment, provided their performance during the contract service being Graded as ‘Very Good’ for the years of contract service in KMRL. 

19. No correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of written/online test and/or interview and reasons for not being called for selection. 

20. For contract posts, the candidate selected will be extended with all the benefits as per the policy of contract employment of KMRL as amended from time to time.
