    Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification :

    Age Limit (as of 01-07-2025)

    • Minimum Age: 20 Years

    • Maximum Age: 30 Years

    • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules for reserved categories

    Age Relaxation Rules

    • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation

    • OBC Candidates: 3 years relaxation

    • Departmental Candidates: Age relaxation as per department rules

    Educational Qualification

    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by UGC / Government on or before the date of Notification. 
    • The Bachelor’s Degree should have been obtained in the following patterns: - a) After completion of SSLC and Higher Secondary course in the order of 10+2+3 / 4 / 5 pattern or b) After completion of SSLC and Diploma in the order of 10+3+2 / 10+3+3 pattern or c) After completion of SSLC and 2 years ITI in the order of 10+2+3 pattern. 
    •  A Bachelor’s Degree can be obtained from Open University / Distance Education / College. However, candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s Degree through Open Universities directly without going through above mentioned patterns will not be eligible.

    How to Apply :

    i. Candidates can apply online only through TNUSRB official website www.tnusrb.tn.gov.in Any other mode / form of application will be summarily rejected. 

    ii. The candidates should have their own e-mail ID and mobile number while filling the Online application which should be used for the entire application / recruitment process. 

    iii. The candidate should furnish his / her jurisdiction Police Station in the online application for Character and Antecedents Verification. 

    iv. The candidate should furnish either the name of Father / Mother / Guardian and it is not necessary to fill all the three fields while submitting the Online application. 

    v. Hall Tickets / Call letters for eligible candidates at various stages of examinations should be downloaded by the candidates from TNUSRB official website and advised to take colour print. No postal Hall Tickets / Call letters will be issued. 

    vi. A Departmental Candidate who is eligible to apply for both Open and Departmental Quota should not submit separate application instead should select the option “BOTH” in the column specified in the Online application. 

    vii. Image of the Left Thumb Impression of the candidate should be uploaded in the document upload section of the Online application. 

    viii. The Candidates can edit the fields of the submitted online application from 04.05.2025 to 13.05.2025, except the fields a) Name b) Preferred Written Examination Centre c) Mobile Number and Email ID. 

    ix. The candidates are not allowed to make any corrections in the online application form after 13.05.2025.

    Application Fee Structure

    Open or Departmental Quota Examination fee is Rs.500/-. If a Departmental Candidate applies for both Open Quota and Departmental Quota he / she should pay a sum of Rs.1000/- as Examination fee. It shall be paid only through Online payment.
